give an account of the sufferings that come upon the Ancient Mariner after he had killed the albatross.

The first one is that the ship is becalmed and a fog settles in, so they cannot move since there is no wind and they have no visual way to navigate. Then the Mariner watches as all of his shipmates die, and sees curses in their eyes. He has nothing to drink, he cannot pray, or sleep.
