why does it become so important for henry to get the enemy flag ?does he feel sorry for the dying man from who the flag is wrenched ?

Capturing the enemy’s flag was a great sign of honor and velour. Henry was in a state of battle ecstasy: he did not feel guilty for taking the flag.
