Henry blames the General for his hesitation and inaction. He is still angry about the General's comments about his regiment. His youth and immaturity make for a loud and foolish rant. From the way his fellow soldiers react, we can see that Henry is alone in feelings. The other men look at things from a different perspective. Henry wasn't at the battle..... he's still afraid the others will find out, and yet, he criticizes those who experienced it.
