Wilson welcomes Henry back with open arms and is genuinely happy to see him. He helps to wrap Henry in a blanket, gets him a warm cup of coffee, and examines his wound. Wilson is the perfect caretaker, and during their time together Henry realizes that Wilson has changed, he is no longer the "loud soldier", his anger has dissipated, and his main concern is no longer how tough he appears.... it's what he does and how he acts. Wilson is no longer the "loud soldier"; he is "the friend".
