The Red Badge of Courage

Chapter 15: Courage could be defined as "the spirit needed to help you do things that are difficult to do." Does Henry show that courage? Does anyone in the novel show this courage?

Please make the answer simple for me to understand Aslan! Thanks!

Yes, Henry shows this type of spirit. He is terrified of the war and the battles, but in the end he finds himself capable of things he had never thought possible. Being a part of battle was indeed difficult, but in the end Henry found the inner courage to perform the duties he was forced to perform.
