The Princess Bride (film)

How does The Princess Bride set this up?

In Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, he has a group of pilgrims going on a journey and along the way they tell tales. Each tale is unique, but one must keep into account that the “frame” is still running with a group of people telling each other stories, even though the story itself is profoundly interesting. How does The Princess Bride set this up?

I don't see how The Princess Bride sets up something from Canterbury Tales. There are a number of stories within The Princess Pride.
