The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Is charlie a static character -one who stays basically the same -or a dynamic character -one who changes throughout the course of a novel? Explain your answer

There is not a lot of textual evidence that Charlie has changed. He has been affected by his experience but we are not sure how he has changed as a result. He seems just as withdrawn as he used to be. He doesn't contribute to Punk Rocky and Sam's typewriter lays unused. Charlie's good marks don't even bring him any joy,

"I ended up getting straight A's this whole year. My mother was very proud and put my report card on the refrigerator"
