Minos
He is the first person who establishes the navy and proclaims himself as the master of the Hellenic sea. He rules the Cyclades. He later expels most of his Carians working under him to appoint his sons to take the position of governors. He does all those to ensure that his family is in control of everything so that he can collect revenues for own use.
Homer
He is a poetic writer who furnishes the Hellenes name in his poems. He was born long after the Trojan War. The original Hellenes in his poetic work are referred to as Danaans, Argives, and the Achaeans.
Hellen
He is the son of Deucalion. After his sons are full grown and strong in Phthiotis, their allies invite them to other cities and gradually they acquire the name Hellenes.

He is a nephew to Atreus. According to Homer, Eurystheus is killed in Attica by the Heraclids. Before he dies, he controlled a huge army but when he is defeated, he furnishes with his contingent of armies.
Agamemnon
He is a continental power because he has a fleet that controls the islands. Controls a small area but feared by many making him a powerful master.

He is an Uncle to Eurystheus.
King Cyrus
He is the King of Persia. He dethrones Croesus and overruns the whole thing between the sea and Halys. He also reduces the coastal cities and islands to a small number.
