What wishes do the pearl buyers have for the great pearl?

The Pearl buyers' only wish is to rip poor Kino off. They want the pearl for next to nothing and then they want to take it too the city and cash in themselves. They are all in collusion offering Kino little everywhere he goes. When Kino refuses to sell, they send thugs to chase his family down and take the pearl by force.
