Kino says, “I am a man.” What does he mean? Do you think he is more of a man now or before he found the pearl? Give examples.

Make sure to put examples please

Kino says this to make Juana feel better. The declaration that he is a man is meant to assure that he will protect her, and that he knows what he is doing.
