how does greed affect kino, juana, and the villagers and townspeople?

Greed makes Kino lose his perspective of the important things of life...... namely his family. Juana is not affected by greed, although she does have to deal with the recriminations of supporting her husband. The villagers and townspeople turn Kino and Juana because of jealousy...... greed affects everyone in a negative way.
