Do you think the pearl is valuable? Why?

The pearl is very valuable. Unfortunately, the pearl buyers are in league with each other in order to pay as little as possible. When it comes down to it, valuables are only worth what someone is willing to pay...... and the pearl buyers weren't wiling to acknowledge its worth.
