to put it simply he finds a pearl and things get really bad so he throws it back in the ocean
Not that I know of, my book was only 90 something pages.
Probably not seeing as how it is a 5th grade book. Don't think that it's something easy because it is if you just "read" the book but if you actually interpret what John Steinbeck then it is a deeply thoughtful novella
Good point. Steinbeck's novel is easy to read but requires a lot of analysis of human nature and what people will do to achieve equality.
