If the eop program that gave these three young men a chance at college and the hundreds of other programs like it didn't exist, do you think they would have succeeded anyway? Why or why not?

This question calls for your opinion. I believe that these programs play a large part in helping young people achieve their dreams..... particularly young people who lack the financial freedom to pave their own way. None-the-less, I've also known young people who've worked their own way through school without the help of programs and financial aid. They too have been successful. In context, I feel that these men would have been successful regardless. They each faced difficulties and adversity, but they were all able to rise above them.
