Geirge found living in his old neighborhood to be a distraction. While at Seton Hall, he had been surrounded by other students, who focused on achieveing dreams and pursuits to better their lives. Back in his neighborhood, George was surrounded by drunks, dealers, addicts, danger, and commotion. Not exactly an environment conducive to success.

I had no idea that living in the old neighborhood again would be such a distraction.
