How did Sam get along with his siblings?

Sam seems to have gotten along with his siblings, but because of their behavior he was also forced (not unwillingly) into taking responsibility for his mother and younger siblings after his father left. He mentions that as a child, he worshipped his oldest brother Kenny, but that after an occasion where he went off on a rant against their mother, he came to hate him. As for Rosaleen, Sam says he never really got to know her, but that his older sister Fellease was his favorite sibling and fourteen years older.
