The Outsiders

Pony loses track of the time. When he gets home, Darry is waiting for him while Soda sleeps on the sofa. Pony notices that Darry is, "madder than I'd seen him in a long time." Darry yells at Pony for being late and sleeping outside. Soda tries to calm Darry down but gets yelled at too. Pony says, "You don't yell at him!" Darry turns around and slaps Ponyboy. Ponyboy ends up running back outside into the night.
