Both Two Bit and Cherry literally come from two different sides of the railroad tracks. Two-Bit sees how Greasers have to struggle to get by while Socs have money and things handed to them. Cherry feels the overwhelming force of conformity among the Socs. She hates the entitlement and constant pressure to act like expected.
