The window is a huge French window that is from ceiling to roof and about 4 feet wide. It represents different worlds where people come and go: it is the passage of time and comprehension. Windows are supposed to give people an honest vision. Ironically, this window gives Framton Vera's misguided vision of what lies beyond.
