Theoclymenus prophesies Odysseus' presence. Telemakhos already told his mother that his father was alive, but he did not tell her he was already there. Theoclymenus divines that Odysseus is now on the island somewhere, but Penelope is not ready to believe him. He also cites that Odysseus is plotting the

downfall of the suitors.
