The Odyssey

slaughter of the suitors

Do you agree that Odysseus needed to kill all of the suitors, if yes why? if not what should he have done instead?

Odysseus is an epic hero. After countless battles and ten long years away, he finally returns home only to find a lot of men hanging around his house, eating his food, and "hitting" on his wife. Within the context of an ancient Greek epic hero, I think Odysseus had a right to "clean house" so to speak.
