in "I am laertes' son, Odysseus, who considers himself a great leader, blames his men's refusal to obey him for the cicones' attack. Does their rebellion reflect unfavorable on odysseus? Why or why not?

Yes, their rebellion does reflect negatively on Odysseus as a leader. A leader who cannot control his men isn't much of a leader. A leader who breaks an oath, which is exactly what happened when Odysseus' man chose not to obey him.... isn't just a bad leader.... he's dishonorable.
