How do the responses of Zeus and Helios demonstrate the ancient Greek belief that their gods had human-like emotions?

These Gods were worse than children. They whine, like Helios , and constantly meddle in the lives of people. Zeus agrees to smite Odysseus's ship because Helios is upset about his cattle. Disrupting the natural order of things is very much a game to the Gods.
