Explain how odysseus's statement "Eurylochus, they are with you to man.? I am alone,outmatched," is an example of forshadowing?

I read with my english class just part 2 of what they put in the grade 9 litature books and we jhave to answer questoins but i dont get the story or this question that much please help... thanks

This quote by Odysseus foreshadows the crew's discontent with Odysseus' leadership. They are more interested in following Eurylochus than Odysseus himself. Although he seems to realize this already, the disobedience of the men will increase as the story goes along.
