Odysseus is described as "godlike" in a number of lines, but he wasn't a god, and although he did possess a number of godlike qualities, he also showed human or mortal characteristics.

Odysseus was described as "godlike" in regards to his popularity, cleverness, and wisdom, but these types of descriptions are evident throughout.
