On the whole, Byron loves to torment his little brother. On the other hand, Byron does save Kenny from drowning and makes sure that people are nice to him. By the end of the novel, Byron even becomes a role-model for his brother. As a brother, Byron comes full circle...... from delinquent to mentor.
