I'd have to say that Zaroff suffered from the most pride or hubris, in that he believed himself invincible. When embarking upon his "game" with Rainsford, he sees it as a win or lose proposition for his adversary..... Rainsford will either die, or he will win his freedom. Zaroff never even contemplates danger to himself.... in the end, his hubris gets him killed.
