What do zaroffs remarks about cossacks suggest about how he will behave later in the story?

Cossacks are savages according to Zaroff. Zaroff enjoys hunting people and he is a Cossack himself. Certainly Zaroff wants to kill Rainsford. I'm not sure what you mean by "act differently".
