The Most Dangerous Game

Rainsford says, "The world is made up of two classes: the hunters and the huntees." How does his conflict with Zaroff help him to understand this expression in a new way?

As a hunter, Rainsford didn't believe the animals knew fear or had feelings. This all changes when Zaroff turns the tables and the great hunter becomes one of the hunted. As a huntee, Rainsford gains a new perspective and respect for the animals he himself has stalked.
