Is there any foreshadowing in the most dangerous game?

The important foreshadowing in MDG comes when the people on the ship hear screams that do not seem animalistic; we find out later they are human because of Zaroff's hunting humans. Also, Rainsford's ideas that animals do not feel fear when they are hunted foreshadows ironically how Rainsford will feel when he is being hunted.
