I suppose hunting for sport is an opinion. There is a thin theme in "The most Dangerous Game", being that Rainsford finally gets to feel what it is like to be hunted. In the context of the story, no it is never okay to hunt humans but I suppose crazy Zaroff and his hunt symbolizes sport hunting. I cringe at sport hunting but there are many people who will defend it. They feel that game can be responsibly managed and it brings money into the economy. I think it is cruel and unnecessary, especially if the game isn't used for needed food.
