The Most Dangerous Game

i need help

think about zaroff's reason for inventing the game. what problem does the game solve? what problem does it create? explain if the problem are internal or external. (connect to the big question; is conflict necessary?)

I think we need to consider that this is escape fiction. The premise is bizzare just like the characters are flat strange. Zaroff uses the game to satisfy is obsession with hunting. The game really solves nothing. There is a man vs man conflict but I am hesitant to read too much into the thematic content of the story.
