The entire story is set in the whites home yet it seems different in each of the three parts of the story.Why are these changes significant? How do they contribute to the theme of the story use text evidence to support your awnser.

I think there is a change in tone. This reflects the increase in menace after each wish. The tone evolves from amusement, to anxiety, to terror. The house stays the same but the tone turns the story into a gothic-like nightmare. I think falls in line with the themes of the story as greed and fate affect the psyche of the family.
