What does the interaction between Gregor and charwoman in paragraph 67 reveal about his then current point of view

At firsts the Gregor is upset at the way the charwoman is talking to him rudely but then realizes that he is in fact not a "dung Beetle" but a human. It is also interesting to consider that the charwoman is the only character that doesn't flee in horror at the sight of Gregor.
