Do you think Gregor has really been transformed into a huge insect or has he just imagined it ?

This questions the reflections I just wrote to you....... no, I do not believe he was really transformed into an insect. I believe that his emotional transformation, his mental state and self-imposed isolation made him feel like an insect. But this is my opinion. 

We also see Grete's claim that they need to get rid of Gregor...... could she possibly have meant institutionalize him? I think it's possible.
