Why is the jump into the Griever Hole the last trial of the maze? What does this jump represent? Ch. 53-57 Pg. 320-346

This is because Teresa and Thomas realize that the Griever Hole they discovered is the exit out of the Maze. The jump represents freedom from bondage.
