The Maze Runner

What does bloody mean in the 1st book of The Maze Runner series?

Like on page 103 it says

"Hey," Chuck said. A small piece of bacon flew out of his mouth when he spoke. 'I've got a question about that."

"Yea Chuckie?" Newt asked, somewhat sarcastically. And whats your bloody question?"

In British slang, "bloody" is used for emphasis, particularly by those who are losing their patience.
