The Master and Margarita

What does Bulgakov make fun of? What and who are main targets of his satire? How and why does he juxtapose the mundane and the superatural?

Could you discuss The master and margarita as a satirical and umoristic novel?

The social satire of this novel is focused on the bureaucracy of the Soviet Union and how if suffocates the people of the country. Such suffocation creates a social order which helps the bureaucracy (the government) but does nothing for the people.

What do you mean? Umoristic? Not a word.
