The Mark on the Wall
Why doesn’t the narrator just get up to look at the spot on the wall?
I'm asking because I can't figure it out..

The narrator doesn't get up because she simply wants to sit in her chair..... the mark bothers her, but in the end, all she really wants to do is relax and enjoy the fire.
