what is the significance of the title. what does susie mean when she refers to the lovely bones?

Susie's reference to the lovely bones has to do with the theme of grieving....... bones are generally a source if discomfort, but our narrator is well-loved in addition to loving; her bones are lovely because they symbolize the beauty that those who loved her will never forget.
