In my opinion, the atmosphere really changes when Bill Hutchinson chooses the special slip, and his wife, Tess, becomes nervous and questioning. Up until then, we have no reason to believe the lottery is anything but a good thing..... we have to wonder, why is Tess Hutchinson so upset?
