What characters do you think are similar to Amir and in explain why they are similar

I might consider Rahim Khan to have a similar temperament and disposition to Amir. Baba's closest friend and Amir and Hassan's confidant. He has an uncanny way of knowing what people are thinking and how to speak to them. He is one of the few people who knows Hassan's real identity and about his rape. He encourages Amir to be a writer by giving him a notebook and it is he who summons Amir back to Afghanistan to atone for his and Baba's sins. It is Rahim Kahn that gives hope to Amir's guilt-ridden soul: "there is a way to be good again".
