Is there any way for Baba and Amir to be reconciled?

I think they reconciled as much as they could before Baba died. Baba dies proud of Amir. He was not a man to articulate his feelings but there was a pride in his son at last. This is something Amir longed for and as close to reconciliation they would ever get.
