Amir does not do anything when his friend Hassan gets raped- I think this is a pivotal point for Amir. Amir is racked with guilt for being too afraid to help his friend against the bully. This incident really shapes the rest of his life.

Baba's decision to move to America- This is very difficult for Baba. Although he wants to give Amir a chance at a life, the move almost breaks a once proud man who was respected in his community. In America Baba is poor and treated with little regard.

Amir's decision to return to Afghanistan to bring Sohrab back to America- Amir retrieves Sohrab, Hassan's son, partly out of guilt (particularly for the rape at the start of the novel, and partly out of a sense of duty for a friendship cut short. Hassan and his wife were shot by the Taliban. Certainly there is the sense that Hassan may live through his son in America with a brighter future.

That is the question sheet that needs to be filled with answers. Please help thanks in advance!

If you follow what I wrote, you should be able to fill in the blanks. I'll do the first one as an example.

Decision:

Amir fails to help Hassan when he is raped in the alley.

Significance:

Amir is plagued by guilt. This guilt and trauma follows Amir into his adult life. This affects Amir's relationships with his father and most people he interacts with.

Could you please do the next 2 questions too. Character 2 and 3 because I have piled of homeworks at hand to pass due tomorrow including this one. You have no idea how big help this is for me and thank you a lot for that! Advance Merry Christmas to you brother.

Decision:

Baba moves to America

Significance:

Baba, once a respected and wealthy man in Afghanistan, is poor and insignificant in America. He does this to give Amir a fighting chance for a life beyond the his own crumbling country.

Decision:

Amir returns to Afghanistan to retrieve Sohrab.

Significance:

Amir attempts to lessen his life long guilt over Hassan's rape. He also is able to bring Sohrab to a new start. Perhaps Hassan may live on through his son in a better place.
