who is the protagonist?

There are differing opinions about this question. Some people say that there is no protagonist, others say that both Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym are the protagonists, but it seems like the majority of people commenting cite only  Ulrich von Gradwitz as the protagonist. I'm not ovely familiar with the text, but from what I can tell the majority seem to be right. If I find anything to counter this answer, I'll be back to let you know.
