Equiano became a devoutly religious man. He often used (White Man's) scripture to counter arguments for slavery.

Equiano maintained that black Africans were descended from Jews who evolved because of tropical climates.

Equiano also thought that Africa could to more for Britain as a trading partner than simple a place to get free labour, "A commercial intercourse with Africa opens an inexhaustible source of wealth to the manufacturing interests of Great Britain."

I think that human nature has been shown to value money and commerce even more than racial hatred. Certainly Equiano's last point would be the best option.
