How is the relationship between Jack and Algernon?

Both men seem at ease with each other's company. Algy seems to poke fun at Jack and they bicker over marriage, manners, and gender roles. When Algy arrives as Ernest, their relationship is strained. By the end, the two find out that they are siblings and Jack good-naturedly says, "Algy, you young scoundrel, you will have to treat me with more respect in the future."
