The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

Based on the immortal life of Henrietta lacks , what obligations should doctors have to patients when storing and distributing tissue for research?

Consider patient consent , discloser of financial interests , etc. how might these obligations impact the issue of fairness and ethics if at all?

I think the overwhelming point is that Henrietta should have been asked to be able to use her cells in any way. Her cells were her property and nobody elses.
