What is pseudomonas and his does it live? What is it's characteristic smell?

Pseudomonas are a bacterium that lives in dirt. It lives in people's back yards and under fingernails. It is one of the most common forms of life on the planet but can ruin cell cultures. It apparently has no smell but Jaharling tells tom that it smells like grape juice.
