Well I could use my own words but the information would be less detailed, in this space, than GradeSaver. Basically the Hot Zone is based upon the true events of an outbreak of the Ebola virus in a monkey house located in the Washington, D.C. The narrative runs through flashbacks of the virus's progression from Kenya and the people involved with it.
